According to the National Weather Service, St. John residents were placed under a severe thunderstorm warning on Thursday evening.
There are widespread power outages in the St. John area. At this time, there are no clear restoration times for power. Out of an abundance of caution, ALL schools will be virtual today. ALL offices will be closed for Friday, May 17.
Central office will remain open to coordinate efforts for power restoration to several schools and offices.
