Registration for home meal delivery is ongoing for 100% virtual students. You do not need to re-register if you are currently receiving meal delivery. If you have not registered your scholar(s), you may register now and be added to a future delivery day.
Please complete one form for each child to sign up for delivery of a meal box (five (5) breakfasts and five (5) lunches) to your residence. To grant permission for delivery of meals, you must complete a separate form for each student enrolled in St. John the Baptist Parish Public Schools in your home.
Meal boxes will be delivered by a school bus driver once per week (excluding school holidays, closures and severe weather). Meals cannot be left on a doorstep; therefore, someone must be there to receive it. If no one is home to receive the meals, the meal box will be returned to the school(s). Families will be notified by email the day before their delivery. Delivery times will take place between 7 a.m. and noon in most cases.
Meal boxes will include a combination of fresh bread products, cereal, frozen entrees, frozen juice, pre-portioned fruit and vegetables, and shelf-stable milk or fresh milk. All food should be refrigerated immediately if not eaten. Instructions for heating and refrigerating will be included.
