The St. John the Baptist Parish Public School District has been chosen by the Louisiana Department of Education to host the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Kick-Off Event for the New Orleans area in recognition of its outstanding 2017-18 FAFSA completion rate of 96 percent of students applying for aid to continue their educations after graduation.
