Risk Management
The Office of Risk Management investigates all incidents in a prompt manner and seeks to correct unsafe acts, conditions, practices, etc. Action is taken to resolve matters such as managing the coordination of providing information to claimants, district personnel, adjusters, insurance companies, and attorneys. This office directs and oversees planning, development and administration of all insurance claims activities of the district and directs and oversees the planning and management of the district’s workers’ compensation program.
Additionally, this Office seeks to support the district's mission by improving communications within the community. The objective of all communication strategies is to advance the St. John the Baptist Parish Public Schools’ Strategic Plan.
Risk Management aims to enhance communication and involvement between the district, its schools and the community, including, but not limited to, information dissemination, internal and external publications, communications, image building and technical assistance to schools.
