CHARITY FUND DRIVES

Charity fund drives are permitted in the schools, but teachers should use this as a tool for instructing students in good citizenship.  No specific goal for a drive should be set and funds should be contributions of students donated through their own sources of revenues.  Drives should be spaced so that a reasonable time elapses between drives.

All fund drives must be sanctioned by the principal.  The principal shall insure that accurate records are maintained concerning the receipts and expenditures of all funds. All school funds shall be deposited in a bank in the name of the school.  Financial statements shall be submitted to the office of the Superintendent as directed by the Superintendent.
