St. John the Baptist Parish Community Network consist of five sites within our St. John the Baptist Parish Schools and twelve childcare centers. There is a need to expand to allow us to serve more children ages Birth to 5 in our parish. We are applying for additional seats using the Coordinated Funding Request Form issued by the Louisiana Department of Education. We ask that you review the form in its entirety and comment on the proposed funding request.

Dear SJBP Family,
We hope this message finds you well. I pray you had a restful and joyful winter break. We are excited to welcome our teachers, students, and staff back to school this week. As we transition back into our school routine, we want to share a few important reminders.

PK - 12 Teachers engaged in Professional Learning throughout the district in preparation for a strong 2nd half of the year. All teachers participated sessions with their peers where they dug into standards, planning, assessments and how to ensure our students are learning at the highest levels!

Venue Change

The purpose of this engagement is for Dr. Perry to hear from and collaborate with the parents and student community regarding Phase I and Phase II building and staffing changes for the upcoming 2025-26 school year in St. John the Baptist Parish Public School System.

There has been a tornado warning issued for St. John the Baptist. To ensure the safety of our students and staff, all school dismissals will be delayed.
